Hiking on July 26 (Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve, Cupertino)

Summer is here and the weather is beautiful! CALOBA invites you and your family to join us for a half-day hiking event!

DATE: July 26Saturday, 9:30am – 12:30pm

LOCATION: Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve near Cupertino and Los Altos.

HOW TO GET THERE:

On Foothill Boulevard, turn onto Cristo Rey Drive. Continue for about 1 mile, veer right around the traffic circle, and turn left into the County Park entrance. There are parking lots on the left side after entered the park entrance. There are also additional parking spaces at the bottom of the park entrance (just follow the road).

MEET UP TIME AND PLACE:

If you choose to carpool with us – since there are limited parking lots at the park

8:50 am: Target parking lot in Cupertino (at the corner near Paris Baguette), 20745 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino

At the park

9:30 am: At the map sign board (next to the restroom structure) near the parking lot at the bottom of the park entrance.

TRAIL ROUTE: We will start walking across the S Meadow Trail, then hike up the trail head and follow the PG&E Trail for about 2.1 miles, then stay to the right on Wildcat Loop Trail towards Deer Hollow Farm.  We will visit Deer Hollow Farm and rest. We will then follow the Lower Meadow Trail and back to the parking lot area. Total trail distance is about 4.5 miles.
