The Silicon Valley office of Jones Day has an immediate need for a corporate associate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with a large or sophisticated mid-size law firm. The candidate should have a focus on private company M&A, emerging growth/venture capital, or private equity representations. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level/senior associate who desires to become a key player in a top-ranked M&A, emerging growth, or private equity practice. Candidates should have excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and should be comfortable assuming a lead role in managing the execution of transactions and interacting directly with clients. Ability to work with other team members and clients, and take ownership of projects, is essential.
