Panelists:

Albert Chin, GC and Corporate Secretary, GoodData

Albert Chin oversees the legal and HR functions at GoodData. Albert's responsibilities include managing GoodData’s legal and HR teams and advising the company on legal, HR operations, commercial and corporate governance matters. Before joining GoodData, Albert led the legal organization at Calypso Technology, a global FinTech software company, and has held senior legal roles at several leading technology companies, including Capcom (video game software), VMware (cloud infrastructure), and Intuit (business/financial software). Albert holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Columbia University and a JD from Boston College Law School. He is a member of the state bars of California, D.C., and New York.

Michelle Leetham, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, Rodan & Fields, LLC

Ms. Michelle Leetham serves as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary at Rodan & Fields, LLC. Ms. Leetham directs all aspects of Rodan + Fields legal affairs and provides strategic advice on business matters to ensure Rodan & Fields is operating within the law. Ms. Leetham has more than 25 years of experience as a Strategic Business and Legal Advisor with expertise in compliance. She served as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, Chief Litigation Counsel and Vice President of at First Solar, where she developed policies and training programs to ensure compliance with a broad array of ethical and regulatory requirements. She was an Of Counsel for Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak and Stewart. She served as Vice President, Principle Counsel and Head of Global Litigation for the Bechtel Corporation, where she led the effort to develop Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") Programs. She is a regular contributor to bar associations and other legal group efforts to promote the use of ADR in both domestic and international venues. She is a Member of the CPR Arbitration Committee and Advisor to the American Law Institute project to develop a Restatement of the U.S. Law of International Commercial Arbitration. She completed a two-year term as President of the Northern California International Arbitration Club. She has a BA in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley and a JD from the Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley.

Jessica Zhou, General Counsel and VP, Ayla Networks

Jessica Zhou brings to Ayla more than 15 years of experience in legal, compliance and helping fast-growing technology companies scale their business and expand internationally. Prior to joining Ayla, she was general counsel of Weebly Inc., a leading global SaaS platform for website creation and management, e-commerce, integrated marketing and data analytics. While there, she drove the company’s worldwide legal and compliance strategy, grew its intellectual property portfolio, defined its government and regulatory practices, and helped the company expand into new markets and scale its business.

Before that, Jessica served as general counsel and chief compliance officer for Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq:CSIQ), one of the world’s largest solar companies, and for Ubiquiti Networks Inc. (Nasdaq:UBNT), a leader in wireless networking and telecommunications. At Canadian Solar, she helped the company successfully scale its business globally, establish multiple international subsidiaries, raise capital in excess of $500 million from public capital markets, and grow revenue from $600 million to over $2 billion during her tenure.

Earlier in her career, Jessica was an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP, a leading global law firm. She has done a significant number of mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on offerings and other capital markets transactions, advised public companies in SEC reporting, public disclosure, corporate governance and counseled public companies boards of directors. She also has extensive experience with venture financing and corporate operational matters.
