Our speaker for this lunch event is Ms. Zheng (Jen) Liu, current president of CALOBA.  She is an intellectual property attorney at Orrick, Herrington& Sutcliffe LLP.  Her practice focuses on patent and trade secrets litigation, intellectual property counseling and technology transaction.  Her biography is available at http://www.orrick.com/lawyers/Bio.asp?ID=180029

Ms. Liu will give a short presentation, lead discussion, and answer questions on professional appearance.  She will share with us some general rules and her own tips on how to project an image of professionalism in the workplace by appropriate attire and demeanor.  Her presentation is intended to provide general guidelines on professional appearance for both male and female members.  That said, we will try to invite a male guest speaker to cover the same topic from a male-specific perspective, either at the same event or later (depending on availability), if we have enough members showing interest.  Please let me know if you would like us to invite a male guest speaker.  In addition, if members are interested in specific issues or questions within the general topic of professional appearance, please feel free to email me ahead of time.
