About the Speaker:

Mr. Alan Ting is a senior leader and strategic thinker managing the Worldwide Commercial Legal team at Ruckus Wireless.  Alan drives and supports all aspects of the business ($300M annual revenue and growing), including the sale and distribution of Ruckus enterprise and carrier class Wi-Fi networking products as well as hosted/cloud services and SaaS business models.  Alan also manages and negotiates strategic partnerships with an ecosystem of over 10,000 distributors, resellers and system integrators, and advises product development and marketing teams on licensing structures and IP protection issues.  Alan has more than 10 years of experience providing strategic legal counsel to technology companies (both public and private) in Silicon Valley. Extensive experience structuring, drafting and negotiating IP/technology and commercial licensing, manufacturing supply and subscription-service contracts (both installed enterprise and cloud/hosted software applications), as well as handling corporate governance, securities and M&A matters.
